There is a large number of weather services websites on the Internet that can provide various up to date weather products such as surface wind and wave height forecasts, text forecasts and satellite pictures.
 We have come up with a selection which includes the following:
[Poseidon system] A regional weather mathematical model is run at the Hellenic Centre for Marine Research and is capable of providing up to 72 hours accurate weather forecast information for the Greek seas. [Univercity of Athens] The school of physics at the Univercity of Athens has a division of physics of environment and meteorology, part of which deals with atmospheric modeling and weather forecasting. [Hellenic National Meteorological Service] The main purpose of the website is to provide meteorological information about the mission and the activities of the Hellenic National Meteorological Service, but it also provides information about the weather conditions all over Greece. [Deutscher Wetterdienst] The Deutscher Wetterdienst provides a wide range of meteorological information free of charge on its website or an ftp server for downloading or linking. [ATOL's Mediterranean Weather] In this website you'll find charts showing the latest analysis and short term forecast. You will be able to use the navigation bar at the left for more detailed charts, text forecasts, satellite photos and observation reports. [JCOMM by Meteo-France] The operational JCOMM official web site provides the marine weather information broadcast via Inmarsat-C SafetyNET by all National Meteorological Services (NMS) appointed as Issuing Services within the framework of the WMO Marine Broadcast System for the Global Maritime Distress and Safety System. [Weather on line] WeatherOnline Ltd. - Meteorological Services gives you weather, water and wind conditions for about 40 sea areas around the British Isles but also for roughly 250 areas worldwide. [Yahoo! Weather] The weather information available from Yahoo! includes satellite maps and aviation forecasts.
